This Privacy Policy explains how Vision Brands LLC d/b/a Vision Pipes (“Vision Pipes,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit visionpipes.com, create an account, place an order, register a product, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Account information. A customer account is required to check out. When you create one, we collect your name, email address, username, and password (we store only a scrambled, hashed version of your password).
• Order information. Billing and shipping name, address, email address, phone number, the products you order, any order notes, and your order history. If you order by phone or email, we collect the same details.
• Payment information. Card details you enter at checkout go directly to our payment processor and are handled under its own privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers on our website. We may receive limited details such as card type, the last four digits, the expiration date, and address and security-code check results.
• Contact form. Your first and last name, email address, subject, and message.
• Newsletter sign-up. Your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Warranty registration. The product you are registering and its serial number, your first and last name, email address, street address, city, state or province, ZIP or postal code, and country (United States or Canada). Registrations are stored in our Google Workspace account so we can support warranty claims.
• Retailer inquiries. The business and contact details you provide on our retailer application.
• Age confirmation. Your confirmation that you are 21 or older and, at delivery, any adult-signature details the carrier collects.

Information collected automatically

When you use our site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and links you click, the website that referred you, your approximate location (city or region, based on IP address), and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies, pixels, browser storage, and the similar technologies described below.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

• Essential store cookies (WooCommerce and WordPress). Keep your cart, checkout, and account login working. The site cannot function properly without them.
• Age verification (vp_age_ok). Remembers that you confirmed you are 21 or older, so we do not ask again on every page.
• Order attribution (WooCommerce). Records how you arrived at our site, such as the referring website or the campaign tags in a link, and attaches that information to your order.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (installed through Google Site Kit and a Google Analytics e-commerce plugin). Help us understand how visitors use the site and which products they view, add to the cart, and buy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Jetpack and WooCommerce Analytics (Automattic). Collect site statistics and store-usage information, such as pages viewed and cart activity.
• Cloudflare. Delivers our site securely and quickly, protects it from attacks, and provides privacy-focused traffic statistics.
• CleanTalk. Checks form submissions and visitor activity to block spam and bots. To do this, CleanTalk processes the information in a submission, such as your email address and IP address.
• Google reCAPTCHA. Protects our login and account forms from automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Fonts and icons. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts and icons from Font Awesome. When your browser loads them, your IP address is sent to those providers.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, the cart, checkout, or account login may not work.

3. How We Use Information

• To process, ship, and support your orders, including sending order and shipping updates.
• To create and manage your account.
• To answer your questions and provide customer service.
• To register products and handle warranty claims and returns.
• To send our newsletter if you subscribed. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
• To confirm age and to prevent fraud, spam, and unauthorized transactions.
• To understand how our site is used and to improve it.
• To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations and to enforce our Terms of Sale.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Payment processor, to process payments and screen for fraud.
• Shipping carriers (FedEx and USPS), to deliver your order.
• Service providers that host our website and email, provide analytics, block spam, and store records, such as Google, Automattic, Cloudflare, and CleanTalk. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of our business.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. How Long We Keep Information

We keep order and payment records for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes; warranty registrations for the life of the warranty; newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe; and account information until you ask us to delete your account. We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to respond and follow up.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of information, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we share it with;
• Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes);
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Get a copy of your information in a portable format;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; and
• Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights.

We will verify your request by matching the information you give us with our records, and we will respond within 45 days, or sooner if your state’s law requires. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to your appeal as required by law.

California residents: in the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, and approximate location) for the business purposes described in Section 3, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 4.

7. Email Choices

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time with the link in any newsletter or by contacting us. We will still send you messages about your orders and warranty claims.

8. Age Restriction

Our products and website are intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Our site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it to run our business. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Where Information Is Processed

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, including in Canada, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Links to Other Sites

Our site links to our pages on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and to other websites. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
